Bryce Miller had an interesting ride en route to the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The Summit, N.J., racer and his bride Jill sped away from their Oct. 3 wedding in Long Island, N.Y., in a Porsche 911 GT3 wrapped to match his No. 48 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car. The 'getaway' car livery was Jill Miller's special surprise for her husband, detailed with the colors and logos of Miller Barrett Racing sponsors Marquis Jet, IPC Systems and Total Petroleum.

Bryce Miller's excitement quickly changed to puzzlement about how he would race a week later.

"My first thought was, 'YES, we're married!'" he said. "Then I saw the car and I asked, 'What's it doing here? Aren't we going to Homestead? There's a lot of work to be done before the race – the car should be in the shop.' It looked just like the race car. It was really well done!"

Miller Barrett Racing will be back on track for the first official test of the 2010 season, at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Dec. 8 and 9.
