LAS VEGAS -- The Vintage Auto Racing Association (VARA) will hold a racing event on Oct. 17-18 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on the outside road course. The Saturday-Sunday event will feature a Porsche-Datsun Shootout.

Racing will take place from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., with a new race group taking to the track every 30 minutes.
Weekend admission tickets are only $10, and kids under 12 are free. Parking is free.
Your admission ticket allows access to the paddock to meet the drivers and see the vintage race cars.
The Pacific F2000 group will hold their season finale at this event and the championship will be decided. This is a semi-professional racing, open-wheel race series where talent is scouted for Formula Atlantic and Indy Car series.
