by Dan Yonke, Scott Wimmer Racing

Scott Wimmer will have a busy weekend as he competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday night and the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday afternoon.

#40 Stoprepairbills.com ChevyTurner Motorsports LLC has turned to Wimmer to pilot their #31 Wolfpack Rental Chevy in their series debut.

"Sandra (Turner, wife and co-owner) and I are very excited to finally make our first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start," said Steve Turner. "A lot of hard work and preparation has gone into Turner Motorsports over the last 10 years; to be able to make our debut in our home state of Texas is extra special. Racing has always been a passion of mine and one of our goals as a company is to help up-and-coming drivers become the next NASCAR stars. As we prepare for the future, Scott (Wimmer) has agreed to drive for us in Texas and we are very confident that he will do a solid job for our team."

Saturday will find Scott piloting the #40 Key Motorsports Chevy in the Nationwide Series race. Stoprepairbills.com has offered to sponsor a breast cancer awareness paint scheme at the track this weekend to keep building awareness across the country. The pink themed Key Motorsports Chevy Impala helped create extra buzz around the track last week, Stoprepairbills.com hopes to keep the momentum moving forward to find a cure. Coming off a great qualifying run (2nd) and a top-10 finish (7th) in Memphis, Wimmer solidified his 16th position in driver points standings.

"I am really looking forward to this weekend in Texas. We had a great run at Memphis and look for that momentum will continue with the #40 Stoprepairbills.com Chevy" said Wimmer. "I can't say enough about the opportunity to drive the #31 truck for Turner Motorsports. Truck racing is really competitive and I look to having a good run for the Turners and Wolfpack Rentals".
