Tuesday, November 3, 2009 Championship Karting International Unveils Class Structures for WSK North American Florida Cup Series

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Championship Karting International (CKI) is pleased to announce the class structures for the 2010 WSK North American Series Florida Cup, featuring 7 classes for the 3 event winter program. The Florida Cup series marks the launch of CKI’s partnership with the European-based WSK Promotions, the leading international kart competition series. WSK North American Series Florida Cup is sanctioned by the World Karting Association, under the WSK banner.
The 3-event 2010 WSK North American Florida Cup will offer racing in 7 classes, each tendering big paydays of cash and prizes. Classes will include hotly contested competition for KF2, KF3 and TaG Senior pilots, as well as four of the most popular Rotax classes; Mini Max, Junior, Senior and Master.
The 2010 WSK North American Series Florida Cup series will feature a two-race per event format, with drivers accumulating points from both races to crown the overall champions. All events will be held at the renowned Homestead Miami Speedway with contests being held on January 29-31, February 26-28 and March 12-14. Details about the much anticipated prizes and cash payouts will be released shortly.

Next up for CKI in 2009 is the annual PRI Trade Show for the PRI/CKI Karting All-Star Classic. Stay tuned to www.championshipkartracing.com for up-to-date information, photos and results. The PRI show is held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from December 10 – 12th with the PRI – CKI Karting All-Stars Classic taking place on the evening of December 10th. Admission to the event is free for PRI attendees and exhibitors with PRI show credentials.
Championship Karting International is also offering a six-event 2010 WSK North American Series National Format throughout the calendar year.
