CLEWISTON, Fla. -- Early Saturday morning the weather was dismal all over the Sunshine State. But by 11 AM the skies had cleared, the track was in great shape and Ken Kinney and his staff looked for a great night of racing.

All that went by the wayside when a late afternoon torrential downpour ended any hopes that the Mini Winged Sprints would be able to put on a show for south Florida fans.

"We want to thank all the drivers and crews that came out to race tonight", Ken Kinney Jr. "That is the kind of support we need to make Hendry County Motorsports Park successful."

Next Saturday the Winged Outlaw Limited Sprints make their second visit to the "Everglades Clay" at Hendry County Motorsports Park. Also on the schedule is the Paul Bange Roofing Sportsman, Mini Stocks, V-8 Bombers and Pure Stocks.

Racing begins at 7 PM.
