Vintage speedway cars, such as this one driven by New South Wales driver Graham Gallagher, will be in action at the Wangaratta Speedway this Saturday night.

WANGARATTA, Australia -- The Wangaratta City Raceway will host the fifth annual Wangaratta Vintage Speedway Classic this Saturday night, with around 40 cars entered.

The popular meeting will see a wide range of historic speedway cars in action, including Speedcars, Humpy Holdens, Caged Speedcars, Formula 500s and Super Modifieds.

With a reduced entry fee of just $5, spectators are encouraged to get to the track early and wander through the pits to look at the cars.

Gates will open at 2.00pm, with the ‘spirited demonstration runs’ getting under way at 4pm.
