Tuesday, October 20, 2009 Bridgeport Speedway's Micro-Sprint Nationals
 by Bill ThomasMEDIA, Pa. -- On Sunday, November 1st, the Micro-Sprint Nationals will take place with action on both the inner and outer ovals. On the quarter mile track, the 270cc and 600cc Micro-Sprints will each have 30 lap features with a $1,000 payday awarded to the winner, $50 to take the green. On the big five-eights mile raceway, the Bridgeport Limited Sprints and the 4-Cylinder Stock Cars will be in action. On Sunday, November 1st, all gates will open at Noon. Warm-ups begin at 3:00 PM with racing action getting underway at 4:00 PM. Pit admission for the Micro-Sprints Nationals will be $30 and general grandstand admission will be $15 with no charge for kids 12 and under. Entry forms for the Micro-Sprint Nationals are available at the speedway and at www.LocalMicros.com

If interest warrants, Bridgeport Speedway may add the 125cc Micro-Sprints to the Micro-Sprint Nationals on Sunday 11/1/09. We need to hear from you guys if you want to be put on the program, need 15 cars minimum and then it will happen
We are planning a Meet & Greet the drivers of Bridgeport Speedway in December in the Granite Run Mall as part of their 25 days till Christmas celebration. Fast and Furious Friday's race director wanted us to pass along to each and every race team and driver his thanks and appreciation for supporting him and the Micro Sprint program on the 1/4 mile track this year. He wishes everyone a very peaceful, relaxing and happy off season and invites everyone to attend the Micro Nationals this year. A thank you to all the fans that supported the 1/4 mile program this year.
